Signal ████
TW-223 cannot be fully contained as its source has not been located. M.A.L.I.C.E monitoring stations maintain constant tracking of its frequency. All broadcasts are to be intercepted and jammed before reaching civilian receivers. Personnel authorized to analyze TW-223 recordings must limit sessions to no more than 30 minutes and must be accompanied by a partner at all times. Recordings are stored on air-gapped systems in Audio Archive Room 3.
TW-223 is an anomalous radio signal of unknown origin broadcasting on a frequency that shifts irregularly between 87.4 MHz and 108.9 MHz. The signal consists of repeating tonal patterns interspersed with segments of speech in an unidentified language. Prolonged exposure (40+ minutes) results in subjects reporting visual hallucinations of geometric structures and an inability to stop humming the primary tonal sequence.
TW-223 was first flagged by a civilian radio enthusiast in ████████ who posted a recording to an online forum before M.A.L.I.C.E could intercept. The post was removed within 6 hours and the original poster was [REDACTED]. The signal has been traced to a general geographic area of approximately 400 square kilometres but no physical transmitter has been located.
Incident Report #001 — Date: [REDACTED]
