The Hollow Stare
TW-221 is to be housed in a 5m x 5m reinforced containment cell in Sector 4 of the M.A.L.I.C.E primary facility. All personnel interacting with TW-221 are required to wear ocular shields rated M-3 or higher. Direct eye contact is strictly prohibited. Personnel exhibiting post-exposure symptoms are to report to Medical Sector immediately. Cell walls are to be lined with non-reflective matte black material. No mirrors or reflective surfaces permitted within 20 meters of containment cell.
TW-221 is an entity of indeterminate origin, appearing as a humanoid figure approximately 1.9 meters in height. Its face is entirely featureless save for two deep, hollow orbital cavities that produce an effect classified as [REDACTED] in all subjects who make direct eye contact for longer than 3 seconds. Subjects report the sensation of being observed from within their own skull. No physiological mechanism has been identified to explain this phenomenon.
TW-221 was first documented on [DATE REDACTED] following reports from residents of ████████, ████ describing encounters with a tall, faceless figure standing at the edge of the local woodlands at dusk. M.A.L.I.C.E field agents were dispatched. Upon arrival, TW-221 was located in a derelict farmhouse. Initial containment attempt resulted in [REDACTED]. Secondary team successfully transported TW-221 to current facility.
Incident Report #001 — Date: [REDACTED]
Researcher ████████ reported a 14-hour fugue state after accidental eye contact during routine observation. Subject recovered but described the interior of TW-221's orbital cavities as 'filled with something that blinks back.' Ocular shield rating upgraded to M-3 following this incident.
Incident Report #002 — Date: [REDACTED]
TW-221 was observed in a standing position facing the cell door for approximately 72 continuous hours. No explanation for behavioral deviation has been determined. Containment status not compromised.
