The Long Corridor

Active
Classification: Class-III
Containment Procedures

TW-199 is in active monitoring status. An average traversal time log is maintained. Personnel in acute distress are advised to use an alternate route where possible.

Description

TW-199 is a corridor in M.A.L.I.C.E's own facility that is consistently longer than its measurements allow. The corridor measures 18 metres by architectural survey. Personnel traversing it at a standard walking pace consistently take between 4 and 22 minutes to reach the other end. The extra distance yields nothing unusual — only more corridor. The duration appears to correlate with the traversing individual's current emotional state, with higher distress producing longer traversals. The corridor was added in a 2009 renovation whose records are incomplete.

Discovery Log

TW-199 was identified by a junior researcher who noted in their daily log that their morning corridor walk had taken 19 minutes and they had been running late.
