TW-189 is a painting that was not painted by any human. It was found, fully complete, in a locked studio rented to an artist who had not yet moved in. The painting depicts a landscape that does not exist — physically impossible topography rendered in technically flawless detail. Viewers consistently report the experience of feeling watched by the landscape itself. Three viewers have reported seeing movement in the painting's background. One has declined to describe what moved.

TW-189 was recovered when the studio landlord found it during a property check and contacted M.A.L.I.C.E after the prospective tenant denied having left anything there.
