The Midnight Inventory
TW-160 requires no active containment. M.A.L.I.C.E operates a monitoring arrangement with the warehouse. The notes are archived. Attempts to communicate via written response have produced no reply.
TW-160 is a phenomenon observed in a wholesale distribution warehouse where, every night at midnight, all stock is found fully inventoried — barcodes scanned, tally sheets completed, items organised — despite no staff being present and no automated system capable of performing the task. CCTV shows the warehouse empty. Forklifts show no engine activity. The inventory is always accurate. A handwritten note is always left on the supervisor's desk reading: 'Everything is accounted for.'
TW-160 was flagged by a distribution manager who noticed their inventory was always perfect on Monday mornings when no weekend shift had been run.
No incident reports on file.
