Document Reference: TW-159
Mutual Radius
TW-159 subjects are not held in custody. They are accommodated together in a M.A.L.I.C.E-supported housing arrangement and monitored via regular welfare checks. No separation testing beyond 40m is approved — prior attempts caused clinical distress.
TW-159 is a pair of individuals, unrelated and previously unacquainted, who cannot be more than 40 metres from each other without both experiencing acute physiological distress — elevated heart rate, respiratory difficulty, and an overwhelming compulsion to return to proximity. Both subjects are unaware of the mechanism. Neither wanted the condition. They have been monitored for 6 years and have developed, reluctantly, a domestic arrangement to manage it.
TW-159 was identified when a hospital emergency admission for 'panic attack' was cross-referenced with a simultaneous admission at the same hospital under identical symptoms from an unknown individual who had been standing near the first patient.
No incident reports on file.
