The Negative Space
TW-158 is monitored. The studio is cooperating with M.A.L.I.C.E under a research agreement. Photographs are archived. Attempts to capture the figure fully in-frame have consistently produced images where the studio is otherwise inexplicably empty.
TW-158 is a phenomenon associated with a photography studio where developed photographs consistently include an additional figure not present during the shoot. The figure is always in the periphery, always partially out of frame, always facing away. In photographs taken over 15 years, the figure appears to be the same entity — same apparent height, same posture, same indistinct clothing. No equipment fault has been identified. The studio has changed ownership twice; the figure persists.
TW-158 was flagged when a client complained about 'a stranger' appearing in their family portrait. The studio owner reviewed their full archive and found the figure in 340 of 500 photographs.
No incident reports on file.
