The Patient Stone
TW-156 is stored in standard archival. It is assessed biannually. Classification will be reviewed if something occurs.
TW-156 is an ordinary-appearing granite stone, approximately 6cm across, that has been in M.A.L.I.C.E custody for 19 years with no observable anomalous properties. Every 6 months it is tested and every 6 months results are normal. It was originally flagged because the person who submitted it described feeling 'an absolute certainty that it is extremely important.' That certainty has since been experienced by every M.A.L.I.C.E researcher who has handled it. No one can explain the certainty. Nothing has happened.
TW-156 was submitted by a geologist who described finding it on a coastal path and being unable to leave without taking it. They then drove to M.A.L.I.C.E's nearest office and handed it over, saying: 'I think you're supposed to have this.'
No incident reports on file.
