The Animal Hour
TW-149 is monitored. The bearing trajectory is classified. Monthly bearing updates are sent to the Director.
TW-149 is a phenomenon affecting a rural settlement where every night between 2:00am and 2:47am, all animals simultaneously orient toward the same compass bearing and remain motionless. The bearing has shifted 3° over 10 years. At current rate, it will align with M.A.L.I.C.E's primary facility in approximately 40 years.
TW-149 was identified by a wildlife researcher who noticed the pattern in monitoring logs. She published in a minor academic journal before M.A.L.I.C.E could intervene. The journal has since been acquired.
No incident reports on file.
