TW-148 is an apartment in which no new tenant can establish residency — the environment continuously reflects a prior occupant from the late 1970s. Food in the fridge not purchased by the current resident, post arriving addressed to a name not their own, music from unoccupied rooms. The prior occupant has not been identified.

TW-148 came to M.A.L.I.C.E through a pattern of tenancy complaints submitted to a housing authority — all from the same address, across different tenants, describing the same phenomenon.
