Document Reference: TW-099
The Inheritance Clause
TW-099 is stored in secure containment in Vault 4. The current beneficiary is monitored. The will is photographed weekly to document changes. Research into the testator's identity and the cause of previous beneficiary deaths is Priority 1.
TW-099 is a legal document — a will — discovered in 1983 in a probate archive in ████████. The will's beneficiary changes. Not fraudulently — the physical document itself changes. The current named beneficiary is a living individual who has no known connection to the deceased testator. All previous beneficiaries are deceased, each having died within one year of being named. The current beneficiary has been contacted and is in protective custody as a precaution. The will's origin, the identity of the testator, and the mechanism of its changes are unknown.
TW-099 was flagged by a probate archivist who noticed the beneficiary name had changed in a sealed file. M.A.L.I.C.E was contacted after the second change was confirmed.
Incident Report #001 — Date: [REDACTED]
The beneficiary name changed for the fourth time in M.A.L.I.C.E custody. The new name belongs to a M.A.L.I.C.E researcher currently assigned to TW-099. The researcher has been informed and has been placed in protective monitoring. They are not to work on TW-099.
