The Drift
TW-094 cannot be contained. M.A.L.I.C.E maintains a registry of affected individuals. Personnel are instructed to report unusual depersonalisation experiences. A protocol for modified duty during TW-094 episodes is in place.
TW-094 is a phenomenon in which an individual loses track of their own identity over a period of 3-7 days. They continue to function normally — working, eating, engaging socially — but describe an increasing sense that they are not themselves, that they are observing their life from a slight remove. The sensation ends abruptly. Individuals report that the period after TW-094 resolution is characterised by an unusually clear sense of self. TW-094 appears to be selective and to affect only individuals with strong, stable identities.
TW-094 was identified through M.A.L.I.C.E wellness monitoring. A pattern of depersonalisation reports followed by reports of unusual self-clarity was identified across multiple facilities.
