TW-066 cannot be contained. Personnel who detect TW-066 are to report the room and time but are not required to leave. No communication protocol with TW-066 has been established. Personnel who choose to speak to it must debrief immediately afterward.

TW-066 is an entity that exists as a sound — a faint, dry breathing, detectable only in rooms that have recently been the site of an emotionally significant conversation. The breathing is always equidistant from all walls, regardless of room shape. Recording equipment does not capture it. It lasts between 40 minutes and 6 hours. Personnel who have heard TW-066 consistently describe it as 'attentive.' Three personnel have reported speaking to it and feeling that it understood.

TW-066 was identified when two researchers in different facilities independently reported hearing breathing in empty rooms following difficult team discussions. Investigation confirmed the phenomenon.
