The Architect's Error

The building is monitored. The space has been catalogued. Entry is permitted for research purposes in sessions not exceeding 45 minutes. No permanent modifications to the space are permitted.

TW-054 is a space — approximately 2m x 2m — on the 4th floor of a commercial building in ████████ that should not exist given the building's floor plans. The space is accessible from the east corridor. It contains nothing. No light source has been found but the space is dimly lit. Sound does not carry into or out of the space — conversations inside are inaudible 1 metre away. Personnel who spend more than 20 minutes inside report that the space is 'exactly the right size.'

TW-054 was discovered by a facilities manager conducting an inventory of usable space. She spent 40 minutes inside before realising she had been there far longer than she intended.
