The Apiarist's Notebook
TW-048 is stored in Archive Room 3. The weather forecasts and geographic data are being cross-referenced with historical records. Attempts to identify H. Morrow are ongoing.
TW-048 is a handwritten beekeeping journal belonging to an individual identified only as 'H. Morrow.' The journal documents bee colonies in extraordinary detail but also contains passages in which H. Morrow describes the bees as conveying information to him — geographic data, structural plans of distant buildings, and on two occasions, what appear to be weather forecasts accurate to within one hour. Research has confirmed the forecasts were accurate. The journal's most recent entry is dated 1931. H. Morrow has not been identified in any historical records.
TW-048 was found in a lot at auction. It was purchased by a collector who noticed the forecast entries and posted about them in an online community. M.A.L.I.C.E monitored the discussion and acquired the journal.
