TW-047 is a signal detected beneath the surface of the earth at a depth of approximately 4km, originating from a point beneath ████████. The signal is patterned — not geological in origin — and repeats on an irregular cycle averaging 17 days. Decryption attempts have produced fragments of what appears to be a coordinate system that does not correspond to any known geographic or navigational model. The signal has been transmitting for longer than any technology capable of generating it is known to have existed.

TW-047 was detected by a geological survey team conducting routine subsurface mapping. The team flagged the signal as non-geological and filed a report through standard channels, which reached M.A.L.I.C.E.
