The Collaborator
TW-046 cannot be contained. M.A.L.I.C.E monitors creative output in known areas of activity. Works that appear to have received TW-046 contributions are to be documented and the contributing sections analysed. Original creators are to be interviewed. No attempt has been made to prevent TW-046's activity as its effects are non-harmful.
TW-046 is an entity that communicates exclusively through collaborative creative work. It has been observed editing manuscripts left unattended, completing partially constructed artworks, and adding movements to unfinished musical compositions. Its contributions are universally described as exceptional — the best work in any given piece. TW-046's additions always advance the existing work's themes in ways the original creator had not articulated. TW-046 has never been directly observed. It operates only when no one is watching.
TW-046 was identified when a novelist reported that a chapter she had left incomplete overnight had been finished in a handwriting she did not recognise. The completed chapter was, in her words, 'better than anything I have written.' M.A.L.I.C.E confirmed subsequent instances of the same phenomenon.
