The Memory Stone

Contained
Classification: Class-II
Containment Procedures

TW-043 is stored in a padded case in Archive Room 3. Handling requires Level 2 clearance and must not exceed 5 minutes per session. A research program is ongoing to document the complete memory sequence. Researchers report the memories as distressing in places. Psychological support is available.

Description

TW-043 is a smooth granite stone, approximately 11cm long, found on a beach in ████████. When held in the hand for more than 60 seconds, the holder begins to experience memories that are not their own. The memories are vivid, emotionally coherent, and consistent between different holders — the same sequence of events is experienced by all. The memories appear to belong to the same individual: a woman in a rural location, period estimated early 20th century. The memories have not yet reached a conclusion. Holders consistently describe wanting to know what happens next.

Discovery Log

TW-043 was found by a beachcomber who brought it to a local museum after experiencing the memories and being unable to identify the historical events depicted. The museum conservator also experienced the memories and contacted an academic institution, which escalated to M.A.L.I.C.E.
