The Glass Archive
TW-041 spheres are stored individually in padded cases in Archive Room 2. They are not to be shaken or struck. Researchers studying the spheres must document all observed changes. The three spheres depicting potential M.A.L.I.C.E facilities are designated Priority Study Items and are under continuous monitoring.
TW-041 is a collection of 212 glass spheres, each approximately 8cm in diameter, found in the basement of a demolished library. Each sphere contains a miniature scene — a room, a landscape, a crowd — rendered in perfect detail and populated with figures of indeterminate scale. The figures move. The movement is slow — approximately 1/400th of real time — but has been confirmed through long-exposure photography. The scenes do not repeat. At least three spheres contain scenes that appear to depict M.A.L.I.C.E facilities.
TW-041 was recovered during demolition of a library building in ████████ when construction workers found the basement. No library records documented the spheres. M.A.L.I.C.E was contacted after a worker photographed a sphere and noticed movement in the photograph.
Incident Report #001 — Date: [REDACTED]
Sphere 7 — one of the three depicting a possible M.A.L.I.C.E facility — now shows a scene that appears to be the corridor outside Archive Room 2, where the spheres are stored. The scene is accurate in all observable details. The figures in the sphere have not been identified.
