The Unfinished Symphony
Performance of TW-034 requires Level 3 clearance. All performances must be conducted in the M.A.L.I.C.E concert facility with monitoring equipment active. Audiences must be briefed on possible perceptual phenomena and sign waivers. Recording equipment is to be used at every performance in continued attempts to document the coda.
TW-034 is a piece of sheet music, 43 pages in length, found in the estate of a composer who died in 1887. The music is written for a full orchestra. When performed, listeners consistently report the same phenomenon: approximately 12 minutes into the piece, they briefly perceive a 44th page of music being performed — a coda that no physical copy contains. The perceived coda is described as 'the most beautiful thing I have ever heard' by all listeners. No two listeners have described the same notes. No recording equipment has successfully captured the coda.
TW-034 was identified by a musicologist who had attended three separate performances by different orchestras and noticed that all audience members described the same phantom coda. M.A.L.I.C.E acquired the original manuscript.
Incident Report #001 — Date: [REDACTED]
