TW-028 is stored in Secure Storage Locker 8. Authorized use requires Level 2 clearance and must be logged with the stated purpose and subject of the photographs. All photographs taken through TW-028 are to be retained and cross-referenced against real-world events 48 hours post-capture. Unauthorized use of TW-028 for personal purposes, including attempts to photograph private locations or individuals without authorization, is grounds for immediate reassignment.
TW-028 is a camera lens, 77mm diameter, of standard optical construction. When fitted to any compatible camera body, photographs taken through TW-028 do not depict what was in front of the camera at the time of capture. Instead, they depict what will be in front of the camera exactly 48 hours after the photograph was taken. The images are sharp, accurate, and consistent with real-world events as verified in all 312 documented test captures. TW-028 cannot photograph its own future — attempts to point the camera at itself produce blank exposures.
TW-028 was purchased at a photography equipment auction by a M.A.L.I.C.E researcher who noticed the photographs did not match what had been photographed. The anomaly was reported and confirmed. The previous owner of the lens could not be traced.

A photograph taken through TW-028 depicted the interior of the M.A.L.I.C.E primary facility's Sector 4 containment wing 48 hours before a containment breach occurred in that wing. The photograph was not reviewed until after the breach. A review protocol requiring daily review of TW-028 photographs has been implemented.
