The Attendance
TW-024 cannot be contained. M.A.L.I.C.E tracks public reports and security camera footage to log appearances. Field teams are dispatched to active sightings when possible to conduct observation. Personnel are not to touch TW-024 group members or attempt to communicate beyond standard verbal address. Photographs and video of each appearance are archived. Research into pattern prediction of appearances is ongoing.
TW-024 is a phenomenon in which a group of between 12 and 20 individuals appears at irregular intervals in public spaces. The group stands in a loose cluster, faces forward, and does not move or speak. They do not respond to interaction. They are dressed in ordinary contemporary clothing. After a period of between 10 minutes and 4 hours, the group disappears simultaneously with no transition — they are present, and then they are not. Their faces are described as unremarkable and inconsistent between sightings — no two witnesses agree on the faces. No individual in the group has ever been identified.
TW-024 was identified through aggregation of public reports and social media posts. M.A.L.I.C.E flagged the pattern when reports from different cities described identical group behavior. No individual city's reports were sufficient to trigger investigation; it was the cross-city correlation that confirmed anomalous status.
Incident Report #001 — Date: [REDACTED]
TW-024 appeared outside the M.A.L.I.C.E primary facility. This is the first confirmed appearance at a M.A.L.I.C.E-associated location. The group was present for 2 hours 18 minutes. All members faced the facility entrance directly. Security protocols were elevated during the appearance.
